My June Award
After staying at number 1 for a good chunk of June I knew the end of June woould be tough to stay there. At the end I got 2nd overall for my office and I am pleased!!

Hot Yoga
4 days after my first class, I finally had the strength to write to Janis. I can survive hot yoga! Some sure fire tips for class triump!
1. My hair turned into a chia pet: tie it down, up high so you can lay down. Eventually you won't care, so start off looking good
2. DON'T apply any type of hand cream to your legs or elsewhere--I was sort of like trying to twist a greased pig--that can't be done
3. TOWELS: yay--they're not for show. They're needed to catch the puddle of you that is left at days end or end of class, whichever comes first. You NEED 3 towels: the 'melting puddle of you' towel, the 'face towel' to wipe your greased legs off and 'another towel' to shower with.
I brought a face towel to dab my sweaty face. Enough said.
4. Bring 1 small water bottle into the room with you--there is little time to drink. And if you have any left over its like drinking warm tub water--eww.
5. No--you can't go naked, though NOW I know why they wear so little during hot yoga.
6. BTW everything sweats (reference 'towels #3')
7. Soon I will remember the trip from the yoga room to the shower--I now know how Kelly Ripa felt when she showered in her underwear after a brutal workout--you really aren't yourself :)
